Take the pen, Jerry

A portrait series revealing America’s traditional retirement culture and the contradiction and disparity’s that emerges in time between the aging residents and their maintained pristine environments.

The promise of an idyllic, leisurely existence slowly achromatizes to immobility and often loneliness. The external surroundings of these retirement villages remain white, manicured and immaculate; the interiors often telling a different story of loss, illness and idleness.
